The good….. The resort itself is beautiful… safe. You get this big private beach, clear, beautiful water, palm trees, etc. they take really good care of the landscape.
The bad…. They have bugs in their room, they’re not bedbugs because I looked them up, but they are in the beds. They look like a little flying gnats. They bit up my ankles.
The food is horrible, they are always out of items on the menu. I wasn’t the only guest that has had this problem and this isn’t my first time staying at this resort and it seems to be an ongoing problem. The steak and beef brisket are not fresh. I couldn’t even eat my dinner, and they didn’t comp it. They made me still pay for it. You will wait 30 minutes before your order is taken, you will wait another 45 minutes for your food or another 30 for them to tell you they don’t have it in the kitchen and if you’d like to order something else by then you’re waiting over an hour for dinner. They’re not apologetic, the staff outside does not care.
It’s unfortunate because the resort itself looks beautiful.. La Paz doesn’t have a big selection of resorts with private beaches. So I would probably stay here again, I will just continue to Uber out for food.
Also, you will wait 12 to 20 minutes for a Uber to pick you up. The resort is about a 10 minute drive to the downtown area.
