I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott for just one night before my long flight, expecting a comfortable rest instead, it turned into one of my worst hotel experiences ever.
The first room had a non-working fridge, TV, and power sockets, with stained curtains. After an hour, I was moved to another room, but the AC wasn’t working properly and it was very warm.Despite multiple technician visits and repeated calls to reception, the issue was never resolved. At 3:30 a.m., the only “solution” offered was a fan absolutely unacceptable for a Marriott property charging nearly ₹10,000 a night.
I couldn’t sleep the entire night and spent it dealing with maintenance instead. The hotel offered Bonvoy points as compensation, but that’s nowhere near enough for the inconvenience and sleepless night I endured. I deserve a full refund for this completely unacceptable experience.
