Approximately 50 kilometres to the south, Thames is a place chock-full with activities. Goldfields Shopping Centre, the Thames Historical Museum and Butterfly and Orchid Garden are all pretty close. Keep in mind, the School of Mines & Mineralogical Museum and the Goldmine Experience may be more your thing.
