Once you've made it to Zhukovsky Airport and plucked your suitcase from the carousel, Kotelniki will be a drive of 19 kilometres to the northwest. From central Moscow, it's 19 kilometres to the southeast.

Kotelniki is a sightseer's wonderland. A great deal of the city's best attractions are scattered near this appealing neighbourhood, including the Lytkarino Museum of History and Local Lore and Ugresha Monastery. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to head onwards to Nikolo Ugreshsky Monastery and the Malakhovka Museum of History and Culture.
