The staff at the Hideaway were all really friendly and helpful. We stayed here as a family and found the accommodation comfortable and clean. There are some quirks with the buildings being a bit older. But this didn't worry us. Hiring a car was helpful to access other shops and restaurants to suit our needs with kids but the resort has everything so not a must.

Very welcoming, staff are so very friendly, helpful, cheerful. Bus transport on roadside beside resort. Resort and rooms very clean, tidy and housekeeping staff absolutely 5 star. So enjoyed soaking up the sun at the beautiful pool. Daily activities including the 12 noon sundance which most of us joined in, lots of fun and laughter. Breakfast was wonderful with such a variety of food to choice from. Only downside was the choice of dinner meals I feel they needed to change the selection more frequently. Allmin all a wo derful holiday and will return.

We had *such* a good time at the Hideaway. The location is beautiful - amazing coral straight off the shore and a lovely beach. The staff were fabulous, really helpful and fun. The resort is a bit older and not glamorous but the setting and the activities more than made up for it. The food was generally good, particularly the Japanese grill. Prepare to relax, to laugh a lot and to have a great holiday!

Great snorkling at high tide off the beach, excellent local trips to village and school, friendly staff. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade. Towels are hard to get. Expensive transport to Denerau for day trips etc

Beautiful spot on the coral coast. Beachfront bures had wonderful views across garden and palm trees to the sea. Food limited but OK. Curries and Kokoda were good. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Facilities were a bit dated but clean. Snorkeling and diving on the reef was super convenient. We saw loads of fish. Enjoyed the spa and the activities offered.

I have stayed at the Hideaway for the past ten years. Although there are many other prestigious resorts at the Coral coast, I love staying at the Hideaway because the bures are only steps away from the beach, it is a place of peace, the resort is not too big and therefore not impersonal and all of the staff are so caring and friendly and a big shout out to the manager Miva who would do anything to make sure you all of your needs are catered for. Only negative is the poor internet connection.

Absolutely amazing staff who were brilliant our entire stay !!. Tash and Dan and the rest of the team were the perfect hosts. Beautiful location with plenty of outdoor activities to do or simply relax with a book by the pool. Kids club for the little people was great too. Hideaway isn`t 5 star its a little tired and could do with a revamp yet perfectly suitable for what we needed with a young family. Highly recommend if you are looking for a value for money Fiji stay.

This place is not 5 star but it is relaxed, comfortable and the staff are great. People feel welcome. Guest accommodation is in individual bures, which are large and have a big bathroom with shower as well as a private outdoor shower and bath. There are plenty of onsite activities if wanted and transport to nearby attractions/restaurants etc are easily arranged.

Constantly felt invisible and frustrated throughout the entire stay. Food was revolting and literally the only option as it was a very remote location; can only recommend eating from the 'tandoori kitchen' but waiting for a table, menus, to order and then food is a regular challenge (even though it wasn't busy). Activities staff were friendly, however f&b staff were mostly a nightmare to deal with. Not a relaxing holiday, consistently felt frustrated by the incompetence of staff, also music was extremely loud & there's constant yelling at the pool and bar areas. Seems like there is zero management and staff are just doing as they please. Lots of stray & malnourished animals around. Very dirty cutlery, plates & common areas. They mop the floors in your room daily and that's about it, getting a clean towel is mission impossible. The internet wifi is barely available, and when you can get a signal it's only available in the loud common areas. Very run down, poorly run & constant smells of sewerage throughout the 'resort'. Do not recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the warmest smiles — not just from the amazing staff, but from fellow guests as well. The energy here is simply contagious; it’s impossible not to relax and enjoy yourself. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, always with genuine kindness and that famous Fijian hospitality. One of the highlights of my trip was snorkeling the reef just in front of the resort every morning. It’s incredibly convenient to have such beautiful, vibrant marine life right at your doorstep. I saw colorful fish, coral, and even the occasional sea turtle — the perfect way to start each day. Between the excellent service, the unforgettable snorkeling, and the constant positive energy from everyone around, my time at Fiji Hideaway was nothing short of amazing. Can’t wait to come back!
