The room was a bit run down but clean with ok aircon. Staff were great but a few were very poor, especially a young guy who cleaned the pool on the Saturday, he was very rude. Also they had ridiculous crimes in place regarding loaning fins to snorkel, in the end I went out and bought my own.

The staff at the Hideaway were all really friendly and helpful. We stayed here as a family and found the accommodation comfortable and clean. There are some quirks with the buildings being a bit older. But this didn't worry us. Hiring a car was helpful to access other shops and restaurants to suit our needs with kids but the resort has everything so not a must.

We stayed for 9 nights. Our room was spacious, plenty of room for adults with kids. The open air bathroom was a treat. Having our accommodation on the beach front was beautiful. The pool area was spacious and clean. The happy hour games were fun and inclusive of every generation. The activities daily were well scheduled. The staff were amazing, every staff member said Bula with a smile and were more than happy to offer service. Small improvements could be made: the bathroom needs a good clean - lots of mould. The open air bathroom was not cleaned once during our stay. The activities available are very repetitive and being so remote it’s hard to go for a walk to shops or do an activity. Day trips are a must to be able to see Fiji. The menu is great and changes nightly, but it is quite expensive. Overall a nice stay, but minor improvements needed

Lovely rooms dotted along the beach. Great snorkelling directly from the beach either side of high tide. It is a little bit tired and could use some refurbishment in places but still beautiful. There is a Padi Dive School on site who offer free pool lessons as well as beginner sea dives (Fabulous!) Low key non crowded resort.

Nice resort. The reef is safe for anyone to explore being fairly shallow. Free Scuba lesson in the pool. Kayaks can be used at high tide, providing its not too windy. Only note is - Resort is mostly cash free with everything being charged back to your room and paid by card.

Beachfront property is lovely. We had to move rooms because they burn the yard waste and trash at least once a day and it makes a lot of smoke. The property across the street was also burning stuff each day. The menu is limited and it would be great to have more options. The staff were fantastic!

We had a fabulous week at the Hideaway. We wanted a week on the Coral Coast before a wedding in Nadi, and chose the Hideaway because of its extremely low nighlty price. I'm not going to lie, the stay didn't start off as great, seeing how rundown the room was, and two very bad meals (I suggest avoiding their toasted sandwiches and pizzas, just odd cheese), but everything from then on was positive. We were in a bure right in front of the ocean, with beautiful well kept gardens. We loved sitting out the front and reading, and playing with our son, or poolside, again, looking out at the ocean. Our meals got so much better, we loved their snack menu (very cheap, and great for lunches), and their Indian and Japanese food was divine. Breakfast is a bit basic but does the job given the nightly rate, and all meals except for the Japanese are served in the same area. The staff were so lovely, and helped my son when he got sick, and helped my mum who isn’t very mobile. She stayed in her own bure. There's a little shop there too, which we bought lots of ice creams from, and even had a kid's panadol, when we accidentally smashed ours (thank goodness!). The beds were really comfortable too! We would definitely come back, given how affordable it was. For the location, if they ever renovate the resort, the price will go up at least 5 times, so it's definitely worth compromising on the quality, to be able to go away for longer.

Great family stay

The Staff were so friendly, beautiful location on the beach. Beds were comfortable, water was only hot. Our Bure needed some updates and fix ups. (I do believe there are doing some Reno's) but their hospitality made up for that !!
