Absolutely rotten filthy and completely unacceptable. Rubbish was overflowing throughout the car park. An outdoor table was littered with thousands of cigarette butts in a bowl, alongside an empty can of tuna — a clear sign of long-term neglect. The room itself was no better: the safety lock on the door was broken, the fridge door was damaged, bed covers were burned with cigarette holes, filth crumbs and dust under beds, clumps of hair on the bathroom floor, and the towels were thin and threadbare. The entire room smelt damp, while reception was hit with an equally pungent, nauseating stench. This place is unhygienic, poorly maintained, and honestly shocking. I’m certain the rooms at Goulburn Jail are in far better condition than the Alpine Heritage Motel.

Staff were very welcoming but two payments were accidentally taken and then unnecessary time taken to rectify. Motel is very old yet comfortable and well appointed. Just needs lots of renovation. Which is happening.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Alpine Heritage Motel is in a convenient location and the check-in process was smooth. The room itself was reasonably sized and had the basic amenities needed for a short stay. However, my room no 11 had a noticeable unpleasant smell, likely due to moisture or dampness, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. With better attention to ventilation and moisture control, this could be improved. Overall, an average stay—acceptable for a night, but there’s room for improvement.

Great stay overall. The room was a little dusty in some places but im a clean freak so thats me. Was a little noisy one morning at 5am with kids and people yelling. And maybe move the milk in the fridge lower as they were frozen and i couldnt use most of them first night. Also left my expensive container in the fridge but would of just thrown it. Didnt mind as i come from hours away so couldnt pick it up 😁
