The home owner wasn’t there to meet us or to say goodbye. The property definitely doesn’t qualify as luxury as listed in description but rather an old house that hasn’t seen improvements in furnishings, plumbing or decor. Welcoming and helpful staff, very clean room and en-suite. The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for, for our overnight stay and explore of the Kaikoura town and coast. Highly recommend.
