Clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet through out the night. Breakfast is always good and good choices and variety. Really nice thing short distance to airport.

Staff was extremely helpful in getting us a ground floor room. After a day of hiking and nursing a sore heal, so appreciated.

We loved our stay. It was our first trip to Eugene to check out the college for our senior. With so many choices around the area, we were glad to have stayed at Valley River Inn. Check in and out were a breeze. The facilities were clean and well appointed and maintained. Safety was never compromised even as the hotel is close to shopping centers, walking/biking paths, freeways etc. The restaurant on site was amazing. Hostesses were accommodating, server was delightful and knowledgeable about the cuisine (husband is a chef and appreciates this), and the dining area was thoughtfully designed. The only minor issue is that our flight was very early and so we were not able to receive an itemized receipt at check out. If you need proof of expenditure for work or other write offs, this should be planned for ahead of time. No big deal and we will definitely return!
