The room was spotless, and the staff was courteous as well. Would have preferred a non-pork option for breakfast, but ultimately clean. Not 100% sure how often the pool gets cleaned, but upon my arrival, the water seems to be murky until the following day. The only issue that I have is that, there was a missing vape from one of my belongings.

We love everything about this place except the beds. We have to bring a mattress topper with us because they are way too hard. We also love that it is fragrance free. For some reason hotels think they have to be overly fragranced in order for people to have a good time or enjoy their stay when and reality, many people are allergic or get headaches from all these fragrances.

Staff was great. The heating was consistent, my only gripe, they ran out of bagels. Other than that it was fine, maybe some more healthy options, and, more yogurt. Beds were comfy.

The room 425, in the afternoon initially looked fine but was cold…we dropped our luggage and left & returned around 8:30 pm after dinner and turned up the heat with the wall thermostat and the fan came on and began blowing out cold air…we waited but it didn’t get warmer…we adjusted the thermostat a little higher and an error message showed up on the unit under the window…the fan came on and went off and this on/off cycle continued repeatedly as did the blowing of cool air for a half hour or more…I called the front desk around 9 or 9:30 pm telling the night clerk the situation and asked for another room…she shifted me to another night clerk who sent my call to the Asst manager’s phone…I left a voice message and of course she never called or came because she wasn’t even in the building then!! I got dressed and was on my way down to the desk when another guest suggested I turn the heat way up to 76 and I did that and the room heated up but was too hot and I turned it to a 70 or 69 degree setting for the night and the on/off cycle with the fan began again and blew cold air…it was now 10:30 or 11pm and my husband and I thought it was too late to change rooms and we tried to sleep…we were awake the whole night with the fan cycling. I’m a Hilton Honors guest and this was shameful really-we come to LI to see family and stay here often..I think the clerk just didn’t know what to do but we should have been given another room right away period! Please respond with an explanation,thanks
