This cool city is home to 31,000 people — don't be scared to mingle with one or two of them during your stay. From the centre of the city, Intra is located 2 kilometres to the northeast. You'll most likely be arriving via Malpensa International Airport, so after you've picked up your suitcase you'll need to make tracks 35 kilometres to the north.

This city has no shortage of impressive things to do, and many of them are found near Intra. It's no easy task to pick the leading sights here, but Borromeo Plaza and the Villa Taranto Botanical Garden are a couple you should not miss. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to keep going to the Isola Bella Botanical Garden and Villa Ducale. A great way to get a deeper understanding of this city is to visit a few of its neighbourhoods. So why not take off to nearby Pallanza and Suna and discover their sights and sounds?
