Great location and wonderful service

Lovely outdoor space and large well appointed room

Lake view from or balcony and rooftop terrace. Buffet breakfast was grest. Clean room with fresh towels each day. Location was good, 15 stroll along the lakeside into Stresa. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Well recommended. Would definitely stop here again.

Staff are excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful but there are one or two things that I would expect in a five star hotel namely - no mirror in the bedroom, no heating, the room was very chilly, the safe is far too small and the water wasn’t very hot. Nothing major was wrong but just a few niggles that shouldn’t have to be brought to the staff’s attention.

Breakfast Menu could be a lot better, as there was no choice for a Hot Breakfast, other than very runny scrambled eggs, which were un-eatable, so in the end I had to go out to a Restaurant for Breakfast. Also very disappointing that the Hotel did not have Tea and Coffee facilities in the room. The Hotel itself was lovely and The Lake View from our Rooms, was absolutely Stunning. Stresa and the surrounding Areas were very Beautiful and we will be returning again.

Stresa is an enchanting enclave on Lago Maggiore. the hotel is modern, very nicely appointed. We had a balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool, bar, and incredible views of the lake and mountains round out what is a fabulous hotel. Oh, did I mention the spa. Everything you need to relax. It's hard to go wrong with any location in Stresa, it's such a small town. Nicely situated on the lake and easy access to the Boromean islands and Verbania, on the opposite side of the lake.
