Whole hearted half assed

Booking process didn’t mention paying for parking but I understand being downtown and limited parking but that should be front and center. It’s almost like the luck of the draw whether or not your get a spot they also had no idea whether someone had a compact or truck so there were big trucks taking up multiple spots and I’m sure they didn’t get charged the large vehicle fee. When we arrived they weren’t ready for check in and couldn’t give us an eta the people were friendly enough but it seemed like everything wasn’t their problem like the fact that half of the elevators just didn’t work or that the other guests were not considerate of others staying there. They were prompt when texting and asking for extra towels which was nice but that might be the only positive thing about the stay. I’m visiting again in October and I’m very sure which hotel I’m not choosing.

Staff is very helpful. Room was clean, but the bed is a little too firm. We stayed to go to Indians minor league game and we walked. The Canal walkway starts right behind the hotel also. So pretty! Area is safe but there is a lot of road and sidewalk construction going on. They worked on the road over night so you could heat that. Breakfast is great! But beware there is a $42 parking charge per night.

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our 2 Queen bed room with fridge was a little cramped but clean. Don't expect the view from your room window you see in the the promotional images. Our view was of the roof line of the hotel itself (air conditioning units/electrical boxes, etc. - with some of the city scape in the background) $42 Extra Parking fee for guests for 24 hrs to park in garage attached to hotel. I wish they would mention that in the booking. The positives are plentiful too, walking distance from many great restaurants, parks, waterways, the Capitol, and stadiums. Breakfast was great, healthy and lots of options. Pool area was clean. Ourdoor area for pets looked nice.

The staff was amazing, extremely clean, breakfast was delicious and the young lady who was working in breakfast area made sure food was plenty full and clean. My daughter and I truly enjoyed our stay. I have only one suggestion an adult hour at the pool.
