Clean dated room.perfect for us as we dont hang around in room.walls seem thin but was real quiet. Like other reviews parking limited but never had a problem. Looked like they staked cars if got full.

Very close to everything. Older property (most of Waikiki felt this way though). No stairs and only 2 elevators - wish we could have used the stairs!!

The lady who checked us in was very rude and Took forever to get us a room and they didn't have any rooms available and she just was very rude about it and then finally gave us a room But it was not a good experience at all and she was not a friendly person. There was a friendly gentleman however he is not who checked us in and there was also a nice lady that lets you keep your luggage there until you're ready to do your transfer on the day you leave and she was very nice but the actual main lady who checks you into the motel is a very cold and rude person. The room we were given the carpet was coming up back but it was clean. After waiting a long time for her to find us a room we just felt lucky that we had a room even though. The Ramada is across the street from a nice motel and you can walk through that motel to get to the beach and you can eat at that motel and hang out at that motel across the street which is very nice. When I used to book through Expedia and check in to motels we always were treated very well and even often upgraded rooms and now it seems they give you the worst room especially at this Romana. The lady at the counter seemed put out that we were even going to stay at her motel and honestly I didn't think she was ever going to even find us a room.

It is a standard hotel, good for a brief stay. The parking lot attendant was wonderful. The front desk staff was friendly UNTIL we had issues starting our rental car. The middle aged Asian man at the front desk was NO help simply saying “We don’t jump cars.”
