Fantastic location, great view. Staff were really good, too. However, I wish they updated some interiors, and my room, particularly, had a noisy air conditioning. I did not bother complaining, and just turn on whenever needed, but, please fix noisy air conditioning. It can be deal breaker for some people in hotter season.

The hotel location is the best! Facilities are clean and there's filtered water stations, sunblock and after sun lotion. The only negative aspect of the hotel is that it doesn't have a hot tub, only a pool and a small gym

I have stayed at the Park Shore for more than 30 years, and is also enjoyed by my extended family Convenience and views can't be beat The staff is great - always pleasant and quick to help. Rooms are sufficient but the furniture is worn out. Beds are comfy if a little on the hard side. Traffic noise tends to echo up the building - but hey- you are on your on vacation, sleep in. Loved water bottle refill machine. Loved coffee machine when it worked, as it broke down twice the week we were there. Snack shop just off front door has coffee drinks as does the two convenience stores (ABC) right off the lobby. Pool deck is nice but small. Rooms on pool deck have dedicated lounge chairs, but are not as private as upper floors. Hotel is on a corner so both the beach, park and zoo are just across the street. Views are incredible. If you don't mind a little shabby chic this is a great pick!

Superior location to the beach, shopping and dining with magnificent view in our ocean view room. Property and rooms were clean with good amenities, and a beautiful lobby. HOWEVER, significant upgrading and freshening up is needed for this aging property to the common areas, hallways and doors, balconies and walkways to the ocean view rooms. i felt like I was in a public housing project or musty motel when on my way to my room. Glad it was only one night.

Fabulous location and views

Wonderful location for my stay. Across from the beach, walking distance to everything but at the end of the busy area. Ocean views and of diamond head are beautiful. We had an issue with the shower and a cabinet at door. When notified it was fixed right away. Rooms are a little old and there are now extras in it but still a great stay

For the money I paid for this hotel, I am NOT impressed with ANYTHING other than the closeness to the beach,thats great. The lobby!! is beautiful, they sure did not hold back on money for that reno, but i wished they would have saved some money for the rooms, as i dont pay to sleep in a lobby.We were put in a room on 5th floor, the noise from the street is unbearable,you will not sleep at all, believe me, not to mention absolutely filthy dusgusting curtains,both sheer and blackouts we were scared to touch them in both rooms .Lock on the sliding door , broken ,My husband was told when he called after our return, it just had to be 'jiggled'! Manager he spoke to, told my husband we seemed happy with everything when checking out!!,At one point we had no cold water in the shower after returning from a whole day at the beach, I couldnt even get a printed detail of my room charges from front desk, you need to cause a rucus i guess to let them know you are unhappy with things.Daughter and I were finally moved to top floor, after lady at front desk told us street noise is out of their hands!....how about you mention to people,they will hear A LOT of noise from this floor maybe? we got the cold shoulder from check in staff , after i complained about 5th floor room, towel/key person was a gem tho.I will never return to this hotel,or recommend it, it is a pig with lipstick on it, and I fully regret staying here , one restuarant on the property, ....hope you like Japanese.

This is definitely a very convenient and nice place to stay on Waikiki beach. The actual rooms are a little dated, but otherwise super clean and the staff was awesome. They provide towels, you can rent beach chairs/umbrellas complimentary, free sunscreen, and good wifi.

Looking a little more tired

Stayed two years ago and now seven nights in March 2025 - there seems to be a decline in facilities and service. The hot water is tepid late at night which we really needed a nice shower after a long flight and night arrival - it was fine earlier in the days following. Coffee machine in the foyer (part of your ‘resort’ fee of almost AUD $600 for 7 days) was broken for two days but there was coffee (no tea) in the room. Towels/coffee pods/cups were replaced every second day in the room and sheets/bed made twice during the week. I think they could provide a voucher for one machine wash say every third day rather than counting out quarters at reception to swap for USD $4.50. Towels could be fluffier. Otherwise great location opposite the beach/park/zoo.

The convenience of walking out from the lobby and the beach being across the street was 10/10. Also they provide beach/pool towels, sunscreen and floaties at the lobby! The rooms are a little outdated but if you’re in Hawaii you won’t be spending much time in the room so that was ok.

First of all, my room is smelly. Furthermore, the room service staff left my room and did not close the door properly for 12 hours! Until now, the investigation is still “ongoing”, the hotel did not provide me any information or result about that. This is very concerning because it puts my belongings at risk.

Stayed 4 great nights. At check out-Our flight was not till 10pm, but they held our luggage all afternoon & allowed us to use their fabulous amenities. We tried to pay for a late checkout, but our room was booked. Beach & zoo across the street. Plenty of great restaurants just steps away.
