The location was amazing, i was able to walk to Hula’s next door. I booked a King Size bed for my room. The bed was super comfortable, the room was clean, however the rooms desperately need to be remodeled. Although, for the price, you cannot go wrong. Best $10 breakfast was at the Burgers in Paradise, you don’t need to spend $50 per meal on breakfast, save your money for top shelf at Hula’s. Bye the way, Hula’s is the best Gay Bar in Waikiki. Enjoy

I thought this hotel was perfect for our needs, close to everything and in a very walkable area so we didn't rent a car for the week. The staff is very friendly, especially Travis, who went above & beyond. The first person I dealt with was meh, and we got a room with no working fridge #1717 and right next to the elevator, but Travis then gave us room# 1709 which was perfect with the premier view of Diamond Head and ocean front. That beautiful view made our week! The rooms still need to be updated style & furniture wise. They need a paint job & bleach on the tile grout. I think the air vent needs to be cleaned inside as well, so a deep cleaning is necessary but overall it was adequate for 1 week. I will say I hated the smell of the towels, horrible. They were clean but whatever detergent they are using smells rachet & a bit rancid. The staff desperately needs to do something different with how they wash the towels. Thankfully I brought my own towels and extra linens but my husband didn't. I use hotel towels for hand drying and bathroom floor mat after showering but the towels were disappointing. The housekeeping ladies are very nice but if you order towels later in the evening, the guy that brings them to your room looks like he dislikes his job or the guests, i couldnt tell which one it was...lol. The lobby looks beautiful, I loved the decor. I also loved the free water in the lobby where you can fill your water bottle at any time, free coffee and suncreen.

Great location. Just across the street from Kuhio Beach, Honolulu Zoo, etc. Great view of Diamond Head (I recommend getting ocean view). Close to multiple ABC stores (one of which is connected to the lobby). Free beach rental equipment at Beach Candy (right around the corner from the hotel). The Japanese restaurant in the lobby is very kind and welcoming. Lulu’s Waikiki is a must. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely return. A couple things to note: 1. In the elevator, in order to gain access to your floor number, you must scan your room card FIRST before pressing the designated floor number. 2. The hotel entrance can be easy to miss as there are no visible driveways or parking lots that lead into the hotel. Although it does mention free parking, that only pertains to STREET PARKING along the nearby park which would still be at least a 10+ minute walk away. If you’re single, traveling with friends, or an adventurous young couple, that’d be great for you! For families or parents traveling with children, I’d highly recommend just paying the $58-$59 for valet parking and convenience. 3. While it’s in a great location, it does require some walking to International Marketplace and surrounding shops and restaurants within the Waikīkī strip. If you’re the type that doesn’t like long walks, you can drive to International Market/Target parking garage ($4/hr) which is more central and explore from there.

If you choose this hotel for the views you will not be disappointed! We had a ocean front corner room and the views were amazing. The beach is across the street and easily accessible. The rooms could use a refresh (update) and bathroom is on the smaller side but everything was clean and we were hardly in the rooms to notice. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There are plenty of food options (including LuLu's which is on the 2nd floor) nearby (walkable) and shopping as well. Again, the view and the staff are the true value of this hotel.

Great experience. The staff was wonderful. The view was spectacular. The hotel is a bit dated but has its charming qualities. Hats off to Kai at the front desk for ensuring we had an amazing stay.

Spent 5 nights. It’s an OKAY hotel. Overpriced resort fee for what you get. Desk staff NOT friendly. House keeping staff were very nice. Pool ran down and needs work. I don’t plan on staying here again unless they drop the resort fee

The rooms are older which was fine for the location. However, the first morning there was a coachroach on the wall and some small bugs in the bathroom. The front desk promptly offered to spray the room but we didnt want chemicals in the room. Instead we just made sure to seal any food up and we had no further issues with coachroaches and i did t see any of the other little bugs the rest of the trip.
