The location is good. The amenities are old. Room lock is not working and bathroom lock is not working as well. Really hard to close the curtain. The staff is ok. Most are friendly.

There was no breakfast unless you went to the restaurant. We stayed 6 nights and our room was only cleaned once. It was a constant struggle to get towels, especially beaxh towels. The rooms are older but the beds were comfortable. We had no body wash or shampoo for a couple of days but they finally brought some on our 4th night. The elevators are a nightmare. There are six but there were so many times we were waiting several minutes to get downstairs or up to our room. One of the nice things about this hotel was being able to check out beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, speakers, floaties, etc) for free from the store below. Also the walk across the street right to the beach is super convenient. We were on the side of the building facing the north side and there was so much construction. It was really noisy in the mornings when we were trying to sleep.

First time here, compared to other big brand hotels…mediocre. There is an option for a three bed room if you need one which is great. And, the valet team was fast. But pool is tiny and shaded, and the pool towels were always unavailable. So you have to wait. The coconut club restaurant for breakfast was full and we could not get a reservation, nor would they allow walk ins. We ate every meal off site. Probably won’t be coming back.

The reception practically does not exist. It consists of a few desks on the third floor next to the swimming pool, without a single chair. We have traveled to over 50 countries and have never seen anything like this. It is unbelievable that this is considered acceptable. The building is very old, and the renovation that was done is below an acceptable standard. Nightstands and other furniture were painted with a sticky paint, apparently without proper sanding, and the same poor finish was used even in the bathroom. There are no amenities provided other than towels and liquid soap. Breakfast is not available unless ordered in advance, and there is only one option per day with no variety. The bar/restaurant is almost impossible to access without a prior reservation, as it is always fully booked, so we had no opportunity to eat at the hotel at all. The bed sheets are a 60% cotton / 40% polyester blend, which is very uncomfortable in this humid climate. Housekeeping service is provided only every second day, which is not the standard expected from a four-star hotel. We stayed for 10 days and could not wait to leave, as the comfort level was far below what we believed we were paying for. The only pleasant aspect of the hotel was the staff — everyone was warm, welcoming, and friendly, including the cleaning staff and the valet parking team, who were easy and pleasant to deal with. I would not recommend this hotel to friends and will not be returning.

The staff was great. Everyone was friendly and the room was great. We were on the 19th floor and had a beautiful view of the beach from our balcony and a stunning view of Diamond Head just outside our door. We were across the street from the beach on one side and across the street from the Zoo on the other side. The aquarium was only 2 or 3 blocks away. We were in walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and shops. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

My wife and I enjoyed a week's stay at the Twin Fin the first week of November. What a wonderful resort! Clean, safe, quiet, and the great Tiki's Restaurant and Bar onsite. It's a quick walk across the street to the beach, and credits at Beach Candy allow you to "rent" free beach chairs or other gear. Twin Fin is exceptionally walkable to restaurants, shopping and attractions like the zoo and aquarium. We will definitely be going back!
