When I arrived it was a very long wait for valet. $50 a night which is crazy. It was hard to navigate and find where the elevators are. No one there to guide you, mind you when you’re jet legged with a toddler you need all the help you need. I ended up going up the escalator with my toddler, stroller and all my baggage’s. The check in desk staff were always in a bad mood, irritated when I would walk up and had a go away vibe. It took me about 3 or 4 days to figure things out about the hotel since the staff gave me absolutely no information. The food at the Tikis is way over priced and so is were drinks . Food was ok. Not worth the money but it was convenient. The entire duration of my stay there was no waiter around the pool. The room and hotel needs updating and is run down. No microwave unless you ask,the room pretty much is empty, so you need all the bathroom essentials of your own. The sliding door was so hard to open the sides of the door were coming apart from the wall. I heard several of the same Complaints from other people. Anyway. I loved the view but getting room service was hard I would have to call everyday to get my room cleaned. Sometimes they don’t even clean it until I called a second time. I would not return because it definitely isn’t worth the money and I would stay elsewhere. Not to mention a lot of the abc store staff were also very rude and annoyed of you would come up to the register. Honestly am pretty disappointed. The beach was amazing.

We booked 2 rooms. 1 room carpet stained, some white substance on carpet in more than 1 spot. Otherwise room ok. 2nd room. Major leak in bathroom. They said they fixed it. Took a shower and 1/2 inch of water all over bathroom. Front desk didnt seem real concerned. The room should not have been rented until leak is fixed. Will not stay at this hotel again. Very disappointed 😞

At check-in, I went to my room on the 17th floor and immediately noticed something was wrong. No key was needed—the door swung wide open because the lock mechanism had clearly been damaged, possibly kicked in at some point. To make matters worse, housekeeping had overlooked old potato chips under the dresser, which set the tone for what became an unsettling experience. I instantly regretted being there. Engineering responded quickly, which I appreciated, but their first attempt to fix the door didn’t work. My wife had to chase them down the hall to return. Even after further adjustments, the door still only locked about half the time, and I had to slam it to catch. The lock plunger was broken, the doorjamb cracked, and I even requested a door replacement. When I asked to switch rooms, the only option offered was a view of the trash bins—unacceptable after paying for oceanfront. A refund was denied, but we were moved to the 6th floor, directly above the Tiki Bar, where loud music played until 10pm nightly. When the music finally stopped, we endured a drunken altercation in the room next door—shouting, punches, crashes against the wall—until security and eventually police intervened around 3:30am. Sleep was impossible. Amenities were also disappointing: the pool area had trash on the ground, valet service took 25 minutes each time, and while beach chairs and umbrellas were included in the resort fee, they hardly compensated for the overall experience.

Great view and across the street from the beach. Plenty of walkable shopping and dining options including Tiki's Grill located at the hotel. Loved the reusable water bottles which we filled and used every day of our stay. Would definitely recommend this spot!
