I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed to relax. The location made everything easy, and the overall vibe was calm, welcoming, and well thought out. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend and would gladly return.

I had a very poor experience with Twin Fin Hotel. The pricing structure is honestly ridiculous. Online, the room is advertised at one price, but by the time everything is added up, the cost balloons far beyond what’s reasonable. In my case, a one-night stay advertised at $309 ended up costing $433.30 total after taxes and mandatory fees. That included $57.82 in taxes and an additional $66.48 in mandatory fees collected at the property. Paying over $430 for a single night in a very average room is hard to justify. Parking makes it even worse. It’s $60 per day, which is excessive. I was told at check-in that locals can receive a 50% discounted parking rate, but they refused to honor it because I booked through a third-party website. That limitation was never clearly disclosed ahead of time and feels misleading. The room itself was underwhelming and did not feel worth the total cost once all the fees were added. On top of that, the elevator system is extremely frustrating to use. Long wait times, overcrowding, and inefficient operation made going up or down a chore, especially during peak hours. It felt poorly designed and completely inadequate for the number of guests staying at the hotel. Between the excessive stacked fees, expensive parking, mediocre room quality, and a poorly functioning elevator system, this hotel delivers very poor value.

It was a great place to stay. Close to the beach and nice rooms. Only negatives were valet parking early and getting charged a resort fee everyday that wasn’t included in the Expedia price.

I'll start by saying the only reason they got 3 stars instead of 2 is because the ocean front view was great. Now for the bad. It started with finding out they only offer valet services when I go there, no mention of that when I booked at $60/day. Then the elevators didn't work properly making you go to the 3rd floor and tell an attendant what floor you wanted, both up and down. The first night I was there they had a malfunction in their fire alarm that evacuated the entire building in the middle of the night. We had to walk down all the stairs, wait over 20 minutes for the staff to figure anything out. Then, by the time they figured it out, they just said false alarm and walk away from us. After a while a guest found a way to open the the stair ways and we walked all the way back up. Up in the room it's pretty dated, down to the popcorn(asbestos) ceilings. The window curtains snagged on the rail constantly and always let light in of the left side if you tried to sleep in. On the 3rd day the valet screwed up the cars, creating a 20 minute delay making us miss a reservation. The staff was mixed. Some where very nice, some were snobby and acted like they didn't want to talk to anyone despite that being their job. At the end of the day this was supposed to be a 4 star hotel but the only part that felt like it was the location. The rest was 2 star hotel level, maybe.

Hit with that $56 resort fee and $60 a day parking. Literally cost more to park than my rental. When you message to have your car ready you get the response that they are to busy. It almost doubled the price of my stay.

I was looking forward to an amazing vacation here in Waikiki but I have to say - my stay at the twin fin was very very disappointing. The managing staff was super rude and unaccommodating to medical issues , elevator was broken at times, front desk was never available. In middle of the night me and my family was jolted up for a false emergency and had to evacuate the building ! They did not update us on the cause or when the issue was resolved. It was chaos. No heating systems, shower was terrible. The reason I left a star at all was because of the Leé making in the morning but other than that, I was very disappointed. I heard everything going on next door, almost felt like I had no privacy at all. Make your stay somewhere else.. Big mistake
