Below average hotel. It pretends to be a boutique hotel but ultimately fails at providing the basic expected amenities from a beach resort. Pool towels are never stocked, valet is not timely, and it charges so much money for a basic room. Ultimately everything is expensive in Hawaii but I'd rather spend $1,000 at a nicer hotel than $500 here again.

Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be back. Great amenities and the convenience of the Tikis Bar & Grill was so sweet!! The only thing I wish was available is… to have the gym open 24 hours. Closing at 10pm is unnecessary when a hotel is open with staff 24 hours a day.

The front desk upon arrival was not pleasant when we checked in. The manager was notified the next day and apologized. One day, we had to call housekeeping to clean our room, and it was late by the time we returned to the room around 8 pm. It was too late to clean the room, so they just brought us clean towels and apologized. Short Staff was given the reason they missed our room.

Great veiw, way over priced for the room. Seemed to be more of a tourist trap. Super small staff. Couldn't even reach customer service, noisey air system, tv sucked, ever other day housekeeping. At those prices it should have been prestigious, and then at checkout being surprized with a $200 resort fee. That put the iceing on a bad cake. Won't be back and telling friends to stay away.
