The counter staff is excellent. We were checked in quickly. The man printed out a document for me and even made it in a Word document for readability The breakfast was lackluster. Frozen pasties and no protein choices. The room was outdated & showed signs of wear n tear. However, it was very clean. Mahalo

The amenity was refunded back to me after I demanded it to be returned the continental breakfast they gave was terrible coffee was not hot pastries were boxed pre packaged not fresh only offered oranges apples no bananas housekeeping was once a week not daily getting into the shower shower was like climbing Mt Everest it was so sunken deep very dangerous to get out of and their swimming pool was not to be described as in it was the size of a small bathtub.

We enjoyed our stay and would book again if we get a chance to go back to Waikiki. While a hotel on the beach would be lovely, Oasis is a wonderful option for those on a tighter budget. The staff is friendly and insightful. The koi and turtle pond is very relaxing. The adjacent restaurant has excellent food at a much more reasonable price than other locales. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the beach (but recommend going at least once via either the Hilton or Royal Hawaiian hotels). Equally importantly, it is only 1 to 2 blocks away from a bus stop. Map apps give excellent insight. We never went wrong. We took buses from/to the airport and Chinatown. $3 each way ($1.50 senior rate). Get a daily pass if doing more than 2 rides in a day.

The property is ok for 1 night of stay. It is very small. No lobby or driveway to properly park your car and get your things out of the car. Valet parking option only and it’s $45/day. Very inconvenient. QR codes are not working. Our room looks old and AC is broken.

The shower head was broken, it was useable, but I didn’t expect to take one handed showers. The shower mat also had some black spots on it? The front desk was preoccupied on their phone and didn’t seem to communicate with the rest of the staff. The place was clean but an over all 6-1/2 out of 10 for us.
