Forgetting a nine a.m. meeting with your boss is a pretty clear sign that you need a holiday. So why not step off the beaten track to Hiles and explore the pleasant forests and lakes of Wisconsin? (The only thing you'll have to remember is how to relax!)

The nation's capital city, Washington, lies around 1,250 kilometres to the southeast of Hiles.

You'll find some lovely natural attractions not too far from Hiles. Why not head 30 kilometres to Lake Thompson? Alternatively, enjoy the different sights and sounds of Lake Tomahawk, 50 kilometres away.

If you're the type of traveller who loves to experience the true local vibe of the place you're visiting, Eagle River Stadium is one for your must-see list. Look into what live events are on while you're in town and cheer along with spirited local sports fans. You'll find the stadium 30 kilometres away in Eagle River.
