Act fast and lock in a room at the Snjofell Guesthouse. It's the only listed hotel near the main streets.

An additional option is the North Star Hotel Olafsvik, which is a great choice if you're fine with travelling 16 kilometres to central Hellnar.

Don't shoot through before you've gone to the Grundfjordur Public Pool and Kirkjufell Mountain in Grundarfjordur. If you're keen to stay in Grundarfjordur, look into the rates at The Old Post Office and Grundarfjördur Hostel. 100 kilometres to the southeast of Hellnar you'll find Keflavik, which is home to the Park Inn by Radisson Reykjavik Keflavik Airport and Hótel Keilir. The hotel was lovely. Bed was comfortable. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome. Supper and breakfast were both great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
