The room we had was very big but lacked furniture just a big empty space, a table and a couple of chairs would have been helpful. Swimming was cold, full of broken tiles in the pool really dangerous for children. Breakfast was ok very bland and the staff were rude. Reception staff were quite rude too apart from one girl who checked us in.

Good location, friendly staff, good food.

My wife and I stayed overnight and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful recrptionist who also sorted out a minor bedroom issue with speed and efficiency. We ate in the dining room and both enjoyed a very well cooked, presented and served meal. The beds were comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were well maintained and pleasant which made our evening stroll very relaxing. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options and good quality food. There were a couple of issues, one of which was the room was very warm with almost zero ventiation - had it been a hot day it would have been unbearably warm in the room. Also the doors are very noisy and my wife was woken on several occasions by the noise of doors slamming in the corridor, even though our room was at the end of the corridor.

We booked this hotel as a family wedding was being held here. Upon arrival, we went to check in but our room was not ready. Not an issue as we were a little early. Once our room was ready, we checked in. We had to pay £25 per person ‘holding fee’ which could be used to pay for drinks and charged to the room. If there was an open balance left, it would be refunded. The issue here was that one receptionist said it was mandatory yet the other receptionist did not charge this fee. The room itself was great. Very spacious. Had a fridge under the TV which was great so we could keep drinks cool. The bathroom had a walk in shower which overflowed onto the floor. It was not great as the tiles were slippery anyway, let alone when it was soaked. The beds were soft and comfortable and we had a great night sleep. There was a fan, safe, ironing board in the wardrobe and a tea tray under the TV. The phone in the room did not seem to work and there was no welcome information for the hotel which made it quite difficult to get assistance if needed. Overall, it was a lovely hotel. Not quite worth the price we paid, especially as the pool and Jacuzzi were closed. Would I stay again, possibly if the facilities were all open

Delightful hotel

The Albrighton hotel and spa is a very relaxing space to be in. The staff were all very friendly and polite. The outside space was truly delightful with its lake and water fountain. Inside the hotel takes you back in time. On a negative point. The dining area could do with a good dusting. There were cobwebs over the windows and dust on the windowsills. Which is alittle off putting. The spa area was nice but could also do with a deep clean as it has funny smell. Apart from that the hotel is lovely and i would recommend for short break or any special event.

perfect stay

Spent 2 days, surroundings lovely, i didn’t do much like the location of the room which was away from main hotel , it was up theses stairs with no rail so if you had mobility issues would be a problem. The view from window was a derelict building and a very busy road. Was vey clean and otherwise peaceful in the gardens

A great family weekend

We had a wonderful family weekend at Albrighton Hall. It was perfect for what we needed. Rooms were accommodated close together like we had requested. We stayed during a heatwave and the grounds were delightful. The children had a great time exploring. The staff were so approachable and helpful. We will definitely be looking to return.

Great Stay !

Our room was clean, spacious and well presented. Taps in the bathroom could do with an update. Room would be enhanced with a little flair in the decoration. We used the pool, which was great. We ate in the bar area overlooking the beautiful gardens. You don't have to book a table as you do in the dining room. The food was excellent and waiter efficient and friendly. We then had drinks on the terrace overlooking the lake. Breakfast was very good with lot's of selection. Would recommend 👌

Check the mattress

Anniversary weekend away. Reception were very accommodating when we requested a change of room due to noise rising up from bar or something below. While I slept very well, the mattress on my wife’s bed was upside down so she spent a night with springs sticking into her. The following morning I spotted this after she said how badly she had slept. We reported this to reception, who after a bit of prompting offered a discount, in the form of a partial refund. Yet to see a penny of that.
