The onsen water temperature was on point! I only stayed for one night, but I went in multiple time’s because it was so relaxing. The breakfast they serve tastes amazing as well.

This hotel no elevator, so we have to carry heavy luggage up to 2nd fl. and also in front pf entrance is almost 30° slope. Access is not friendly.

A quiet, out of the way property with a lot of privacy and friendly people around. Lots of options for onsen or foot baths, but i enjoyed the quiet and more exclusive onsen on site. Its a better place to stay if you travel by car or enjoy walking. It's a safe area and if rest and retreating is what you need, this is the place to be.

I recently stayed at Hakone Kowakien Miyamafurin and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and the beds are very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. I noticed some reviews mentioning disappointment with the breakfast, stating it was "just bread," but I found it perfectly fine. The breakfast consisted of three delicious pastries, yogurt, orange juice, and coffee, which was enough to start my day. It's simple, but it worked for me.

This is pretty much a Ryokan. Simple. Breakfast is very basic, no diner. They need to do better. Impression dining area is still closed from Covid time. A very Japanese experience. Sit on the floor, etc.

A bit remote, buy the bus free pass to get around. Breakfast is basic they give u a plate of four bread items. Onsen is ok nice being outside.
