Hotels in Ha Chanh

If you're on your way to Ha Chanh, keep this in mind — accommodation options in the vicinity are as sparse as the hair on your great uncle Barry's head!

However, Halong City is located 35 kilometres from Ha Chanh. Here you can choose from a number of places to crash. A few to look into are the Paradise Privilege Cruise and Paradise Peak Cruise.

Attractions and Hotels Near Ha Chanh

Sure, you could spend your entire time just in Ha Chanh, but you're gonna have FOMO. For some truly epic adventures, you've gotta explore Vietnam's other sights. Lift your landscape photography game by checking out some of Vietnam's incredible rural landscapes. Ruins, traditional villages and fortresses are a few more tourist hotspots worth pulling your camera out for. Alternatively, have a crack at one or two popular regional pastimes like hiking and cycling.

Haiphong is another place to hang your hat. It's home to the Haiphong Museum and Queen of the Rosary Cathedral, and it's 75 kilometres to the west of the heart of Ha Chanh. Places to stay in Haiphong include the Camela Hotel & Resort and AVANI Hai Phong Harbour View.

Unless you're going to crash on the floor at Cat Bi Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you fly. The Sea Stars Hotel is pretty close by, or you could always travel into Ha Chanh's centre. It's 75 kilometres away.

All the staff, especially the concierge John, were extremely friendly and helpful. John arranged activities, scooters and coordinated our difficult connecting transportation requirements. The spa was amazing and our room was by far the most beautiful, modern and well appointed of any we've experienced. A spectacular view, extremely comfortable bedding and uncommon conveniences like an in room Nesspresso, auto dimming cove, recessed and under cabinet lighting made it feel very homey. Unfortunately, the property itself is still recovering from a recent typhoon and our January visit probably didn't help appearances but we can't say enough about the staff and accommodations.
