Journey about 2 kilometres northwest of Gzira and you'll hit the busy centre of Valletta.

Ta' Xbiex is located 0.5 kilometres away and is home to some excellent sights. St. Paul's Cathedral and Hagar Qim alone make the trip worthwhile. If you're still not convinced, you should also check out Fort St. Elmo.

Take the little ones along to Duck Village for a wonderful day of family entertainment.

Golden Sands Beach and St George's Beach are great spots if you feel like somewhere to sit back and unwind.

Mother Nature's handiwork is on display in numerous places around Gzira. Just 20 kilometres away, Blue Lagoon is a wonderful place to start. Mellieha Bay sits 15 kilometres away and is another ideal spot for some downtime.
