Book Gunnison - Crested Butte hotels

This place may not look fancy, but let me tell you the beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and the property is peaceful. The best part of Old Town Inn is how kind and helpful staff are. We’ve stayed there twice now with our dog and they have been wonderful her too! Highly recommend!l

There was no one at the hotel when I arrived. I had to call someone who directed me to pick up a key off the front desk. I had requested a room with a view. What I got was room 103, first floor with a view of the parking lot. The toilet was not functional, the room was dismal at best. There was no one to ask for help. I was the only person on property, which was also very disconcerting. The following morning someone had set out an envelop for me for a different room, presumably an upgrade, but I was scheduled to check out that morning... so that was weird. Again, no one on property except the breakfast attendant. I explained my dilemma to her. She tried to reach a manager or other hotel staff and was also not able to reach anyone. I would never ever recommend this place. I would have felt safer at the Bates Motel.

The unit is old and dated. The bed was hard and sheets were scratchy. There weren’t enough covers on the bed either. I liked this unit having a dog. Easy to get in and out.
