If you like meeting the locals while on the road, Shanghai is full of potential new friends. Around 22,300,000 people call this lively city home. To reach Guangming from downtown Shanghai, head south for 35 kilometres. From Hongqiao International Airport, it's a drive of 35 kilometres to the southeast.

A good deal of this city's top attractions are located near Guangming, and Guhua Park and Shanghai Tongjin Bridge are two of the most impressive. The must-see sights of ShangHai ZhuangHang GuiHua ZhanShi ZhongXin and Fengxian Museum are also waiting for you. While you're in town, consider visiting a few other neighbourhoods to appreciate more of what Shanghai has to offer. Nanqiaozhen and Fengxian are good recommendations that are a short distance away.

The Bund is certainly up there with the most famous sights of Shanghai. Getting to it shouldn't be an issue, as it's just 2 kilometres from the centre of the city.

The centre of the city also boasts an assortment of sights to feast your eyes on, such as Jin Mao Tower and Xintiandi. Alternatively, have a look around French Concession and Nanjing Road Shopping District.
