Would’ve been 5 stars if we didn’t have to wait 5 hours for our room AFTER check in time. Check in was at 4:00. They said they had no rooms even tho we booked 6 months in advance. Had us pay $350 for our room but wasn’t able to actually get the key until 9:30 at night. Worst customer service experience ever. But the hotel itself was very nice & super clean. Not sure if I would ever go back after that though unfortunately.

We checked in at 4 to be told rooms where not ready and had to wait till after 6:30 pm for our room to be ready, and parking was a mess had to pay $48 dollars to park for less then 24 hours Hotel is beautiful but to have us wait and not give us a discount is outrageous

Grand Rapids is beautiful

We love the Amway Grand. The only bummer was we were given a handicap shower room, so water just goes everywhere woth showers. Our toliet wasn’t fully flushing & we were close to the elevator so that’s always a louder area when you’re trying to sleep. The hotel is beautiful and historic, just bummed about a few tolerable things.

The room was clean and had lots of room. Amazing view. We loved that there was the tunnel to Van Andel as we were visiting for a concert and it happened to be raining that night.
