What a bargain. I’ve paid triple to stay in old dumps that stink of old cigarettes and parties and are loud and uncomfortable old motel style. This is a legit HOTEL. Nice details and styling, comfortable bed, clean room and the cheapest in town on Expedia for me

God Awful!

Old and smelly, smelly because there are no a/c units or cooling. When we checked in at 9pm the room was 90° and musty. Nobody slept. We found hairs on the sheets under the comforter. They have a lot of local, shelter guest staying in the hotel so you are not letting your children even teenagers walk to the lobby or pool. I didn't normally write bag reviews... But this was awful and we had an upgraded suite ... Lol

Great place to stay

This is a very nice place to stay. The room was very clean, nice lobby area, great little bar/lounger and all of the staff were very friendly! My only complaint, if you are booking on a 3rd party site, read the fine print because parking is $14 a day. I am used to paying for parking in big cities but I always think of GJ as "small town America" so this was surprising to me. Overall, I would highly recommend the Grand Vista!

Road trip highlight

Was on a cross country motorcycle trip and stayed here after a 7 hour ride from Vegas. Exactly what we needed. Was the hot tub working? Sorta, no jets. Was the water fountain broke? Sure but not necessary. Was it a little outdated? Yes. Was it a charming and perfect stop on a long road trip? Absolutely. The bar is a timeless place to pop in and chat with a stranger. The restaurant is equally charming. Employees were friendly and great. Would stay here over and over.

Clean and quiet

The hotel has slightly dated decor. However the bedding and bathrooms were extremely clean and the air conditioning worked beyond incredible! I would definitely come here again!

My room carpet had dog hair on it and felt sticky .The property needs to be refurbished. Still looks like the 90’s. The Restaurant and bar were decent. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
