Very clean room, great shower, outstanding view of the canyon. Small family of elk in the morning. Food at the cafe was quite good and not crazy expensive.

Room was clean, staff was great. Lodge is showing it's age, we had to call to get the shower started. But the location is nice the Grand Canyon is right outside your window.

Thunderbird Lodge is a great place to stay in Grand Canyon Village. It sits between Bright Angel Lodge and the El Tovar Hotel so you're close to the restaurants at both places but have the peace of a place that doesn't have other guests walking through. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed and parking was easy when we visited in January. This place gets a thumbs up from us!
