The end of September is a nice time of year to visit The Grand Canyon. The Lodge is clean, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. This is our 3rd time staying at the Red Feather Lodge. It’s not as expensive as other places nearby, but also doesn’t offer much for amenities. The coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar is nice, and our kids have enjoyed the pool in the past. The beds are pretty soft, but not awful. Our room was clean, and well stocked with towels and had toiletries available. They don’t use down or feather- which is perfect for those of us that are highly allergic. We didn’t use the other amenities this time as we spent our time at The Grand Canyon. It also allows dogs, which is great if you’re travelling with your fur babies!

My husband and I stayed here when we visited the Grand Canyon. The motel side is the older side where we stayed. It was kind of retro in style, but we loved it. The beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed having the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. It's the first motel where I've ever seen that. There were some motorcyclists staying there, and I thought there might be some noise from them, but we never heard a thing. We enjoyed our two nights at the Red Feather Lodge.
