10 min walk to Old Town and all restaurants. 20 min to Castle. We did not get a room with the river view but the room was updated and very clean. Breakfast option is well worth the money. Will definitely return when back in Meissen.

Very nice hotel!

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We used this more remote hotel as a central point between Dresden and Leipzig. So nice to stay outside of the busyness of the city. Highly recommend this hotel.

Schoene Location aber unangemessene Zusatzkosten

Pro: Das Hotel hat eine sehr schoene Lage, direkt am Elberadweg. Der Garten mit Blick auf die Albrechtsburg ist schoen angelegt, Wifi ist im ganzen Gelaende excellent. Hotel und Zimmer sehr sauber. Preislich, vergleichbar mit allen anderen Hotels in der Gegend. Cons: Das Preis-Leistungsverhaeltnis stimmt sehr schnell NICHT mehr, wenn man Fruestueck und Parkgebuehren dazu bucht. Vor allem das Fruehstueck ist sehr ueberteuert, und waehrend es auf Hotels.com mit 26Euro fuer 2 Personen gelistet ist (allerdings nicht buchbar online), hat uns das Hotel 22 Euro Pro Person und Fruehstueck angerechnet. Das Fruehstueck ist definitiv nicht 22 Euro wert. Der Parkplatz (14 Euro/Nacht) oder Tiefgarage (25 Euro/Nacht) sind komplett unangemessen. Die Badezimmer beduerfen einer Renovierung, und vor allem die Duschvorrichtung koennte eine Update gebrauchen. Leider sind durch die sehr teuren Zusatzkosten die Preis-Leistungs Verhaeltnisse nicht mehr empfehlenswert und haben bei uns das anfangs positive Gesamtbild verschoben, so das wir uns nicht sicher sind nochmals dieses Hotel zu buchen.

A really nice new/old hotel, with a beautiful tiled and architecturally exquisite exterior. A perfect landing spot for a beautiful town of Meissen - a gem of Saxony.

Spa with a view

Very nice hotel, with beautiful view. Spa was very nice, with 3 different saunas, spa with beautiful view to Albrechtsburg. Highly recommended.

Overpriced hotel

Booked a room with one double bed but what i received was 2 beds moved close to eachother. Hotel restaurant only has few dinner choices and was closed every Sunday. Tablet to order room service or call reception also broken, had to go to reception to order room service when restaurant was full and only choice was to eat in the room. Overall for the price i paid per night not worth it.

No room cleaning.

First the positives: nice room, good pillows and comfortable bed, location dubious and a bit run down, view from the window was on a back street. Uncovered parking was in a rather derelict place but close to the hotel. They wanted €10 per day for that but offered no security on the premises except a bar gate for the cars entering or leaving which was a bit of a joke as I had to ring the hotel to get them to open the bar gate as no one answered the call system. Negatives: One big one, on the second day the room was not made up, and, therefore there were no clean towels etc. The receptionist at the time blamed it on Covid-19. However, my neighbour had her room made up. When I complained in the morning, the new receptionist seemed rather taken aback and waived the parking fee - it was a farce really - so overall pretty disappointing.
