It sits 360 kilometres northwest of the capital of Spain, Madrid.

Santa Maria Beach and Gulpiyuri Beach should be towards the top of your list if you're searching for somewhere to sit back and unwind.

The calming sounds of nature await you at Cares Gorge. It lies just 45 kilometres away, so you don't have to be on the road all day. Lakes of Covadonga, 35 kilometres away, is another recommended option.

Experience the thrill of observing a live soccer game at Carlos Tartiere Stadium, the home turf of the Real Oviedo, S.A.D. After you've cheered along with their devoted fans, why not grab a drink with them somewhere nearby? To reach the venue, head 40 kilometres west to Oviedo.

The snow-covered mountains of Alto Campoo Ski Resort and Valgrande-Pajares will excite powder fiends. Rent some skis and sharpen your technique on the fresh slopes.
