The pool was beautiful, as well as the stream and bridge. I rented a mountain view, however only saw trees and a parking lot. Breakfast went until 10, which was nice for my tired teens! The curtain in our room had white stains all over it. Mold in the bathroom sink around where it was sealed. The parking garage was flooding when we arrived, had to use my windshield wipers while parking. In the morning they were draining the water out and into the stream. The check in lady was not friendly at all, checkout man was very nice.

We liked the free Breakfast, nice room, view of the river & lights of Gatlinburg. We arrived early the room wasn't ready so we stayed in lobby for over an hour then a manager? saw us & asked the desk person why we were waiting. She told her our room wasn't ready. She said find them a room that IS ready. We got a room right away. We were early but maybe she didn't know they could do that & we didn't know either. (Just fyi to ask) We would stay again because of location & would stay in the riverside room.

Good location & price for older hotel

“Mountain view” was noting more than the parking lot and pool. I would definitely recommend “River View”. The hotel and rooms were nice and clean however the bathroom had a terrible musty/mildew smell.

The location was perfect (just one road over from the strip) and everyone we met was very kind and helpful. Parking can be difficult and this is due to a small parking lot and bigger trucks and suv wanting to park in the middle of three parking spaces (two beams separating parking spaces by three’s). Breakfast was okay and can get busy! More food variety will be nice. The housekeepers were great in getting us more items that was needed. We loved the pool and the hot tubs. The elevator can be slow. The room we had was very clean and had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The tub was sooooo slow to drain but the water pressure was great.

Hotel is in a great location. The room was dirty and needs renovation. Our door also did not shut properly, I kept thinking my family was leaving the door open until our last night. I then realized the door doesnt latch closed, luckily nothing was stolen from our rooom.

Edgewater is a decent place to stay. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the beds were very hard and uncomfortable for sleeping.

This property is dated and if they are having a conference you will be waiting on the elevator….pool doesn’t close until 11pm so if you have a room by the pool and want to go to sleep before that it can be a problem. It should be rated about a 7.2 on the Expedia website.
