Not happy with the fact that I paid for and reserved a mountainside room & received a room on the opposite side of the hotel. When I called down after I noticed the change, they said they were simply "unavailable." Not OK.

It was better than some

Hotel needs updates. Elevator was very slow. Room with hot tub has carpet so stinks when wet. Balcony on backside doesn't have a great view. Breakfast was ok and FREE. Parking was about $17 a night. Make sure you have small to medium-sized vehicle low ceiling in Parking garage. Overall the location was great and if needed to stay here I would but not first on my list possibilities.

Perfect place to stay, little river running under the balcony rooms, easy to walk up the street if you are going to anakeesta park. Staff was so nice and friendly!

The beds are terrible, very hard and seem to be old. The elevators are very slow. We were there in late September and we saw multiple people bringing in space fans because the upper rooms were hot. Even though the hotel was mostly empty they put us on the end that was by a loud haunted house. The woman that checked us in was snippy when I asked why there is a $16.00+ extra charge for daily parking.

There were large potholes at the entrance to their garage. Directions to the Lobby from the garage were unclear The towels were worn and yellowish. No fruit or pastries were provided with breakfast.

The breakfast menu was good. The hotel is overall very dated. The parking area is super tight. Very hard to get in and out of parking spots. The elevator was also very slow. We liked how we could walk right out of the hotel and onto the main strip of Gatlinburg but in general it felt dated.

Clean facility, great scenic location and walking distance to everything in Gatlinburg, helpful and attentive staff, great pool, yummy free breakfast with lots of options. We will definitely be back to stay at Edgewater!

The facilities were clean and nice and convenient to the parkway in Gatlinburg. The only issue I had was the confusion trying to find the office and the parking deck. The parking would be my only issue for not staying again. People were very nice and helpful.

On the 8th floor, fingernail clippings on the floor by the nightstand, no hot water - only lukewarm, and hot tun in room needed work! All banged up! Parking was difficult and you had to go up the elevator to check in. I’d never stay here again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed at the Edgewater hotel, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was one of the best I’ve slept in while traveling. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection, and the staff made the stay even better with their friendliness. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again!
