Can't keep those feet still? If you're nodding in agreement, then set off and explore the wider Kyushu and Okinawa region. The area is home to some amazing beaches, mountains and active volcanos. After staring slack-jawed at nature's artworks, check out well-known tourist attractions like ruins and castles. Also, take the opportunity to have a go at one or two popular regional activities like mountain biking, hiking and horse riding.

Caviar or corn dogs? However you roll, you're certain to enjoy a trip to Minamiaso, 45 kilometres away. With Yusui Tunnel Park and Mt. Aso to explore, you'll have plenty to keep you busy.
