It's an airport hotel, so set your expectations accordingly. This is a place to catch a night's sleep before or after your flight. It is in an area connected to the airport called "The Squaire," and that's a game changer. Paulaner has a restaurant in The Squaire and it is a FABULOUS biergarten. Great beer, great Bavarian food, good prices. I wouldn't even consider an airport hotel restaurant when Paulaner is a two minute walk, all indoors.
The hotel itself is very well maintained, but old. No power on once side of the bed. None. Two outlets and a charger on one side, which is great, but nothing on the other side. Very 1980's. AC worked, which is great. Shower was good. Plumbing was in great shape and the room was very clean. TV selection was very poor, like most Euro-Hiltons, but you're not there to watch TV.
WiFi is great if you are an HHonors member. I believe you have to pay, otherwise, but check.
Bed was small (which I don't mind) but very comfortable. Full-size, not queen. Check in was fast and easy.
Ten minute walk to the Terminal 1 check-in area, all indoors with many options to get a cup of coffee, convenience stores, etc. Very convenient.
Other than the limited number of power outlets it's everything you need in an airport hotel.
