Extremely tired decoration, pictures on site do not give proper reflection of property. Very slow check in service. Certainly overpriced for what is offered. Requested quiet room but had generator outside room which kept us awake all night. Terrible stay.

Good basic hotel. Paid extra for sea view, which was excellent, nice little balcony. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Check-in was very busy when we arrived, but very efficient and we were checked in within about 5 minutes. Car park was very busy and we were lucky to get a space.

I come here on the weekend I did my check in I payed £177 And when I come to my room the room wasn’t clean yet pls sheet old stuf from previous gest I booked premier room with balcony and I get just a normal room When I went to reception the guy was saying your booking is standard to get balcony you have to pay extra 177 a day isn’t enough lol Kindly have a look for this case pls

Clean and comfortable

Have stayed here a few times. The clientele here can be a bit mixed and have seen some interesting characters but the rooms are clean and comfortable and more often or not with a lovely view of the harbour. For the price I can't fault it. If you want something a bit more upmarket you have to pay for it. But for a bed for the night and the location to the port - this place is excellent.

Absolutely disgusting place staff are useless and not efficient the whole hotel is a shambles it was that bad I even had to apologize to my dog for making him stay in this dirty outdated hotel the clientele that this place attracts speaks volumes and anyone giving good reviews are fake reviews there is nothing good about this place the only good thing is when you check out .!

Iconic old hotel with some bumps

The view was spectacular and the location was amazing. Iconic Hotel. But fire alarm went off first thing in the morning two days in a row, so while I paid for late checkout, I left early because I couldn’t sleep in. Shower was broken and tv didn’t work.

The staff were excellent. The food was acceptable. However, the hotel is terrible. Very run down and tired. Extremely uncomfortable bed. Not even enough hot water to run a shallow bath. Room was very noisy. Had to get up at Midnight, go to reception, and complain about the noise from the room next door. It might be cheap, but I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Unless it is just to pop in for the carvery.

Clearly in a recent renovated room, was clean and fresh. Balcony and view fantastic. Breakfast offerings were good. Mattress was very hard and quite worn out, but bedding was good and clean.
