The most beautiful Masseria. Feels like home. The attention to every detail is amazing. The service impeccable! Francesco was the nicest, most welcoming and helpful guy I ever met. Can’t say enough great things about this Masseria. The breakfast was delicious!
Masseria Montenapoleone exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived at the gates. The staff and service was amazing. Just wished we’d stayed more than one night.
Absolutely paradise! Every thing was perfect!!!! We drove to the airport (1.5hrs away) and realized we foolishly left our passports in the room safe! Within minutes after our call, they had a driver bring it to us at the airport (for a very reasonable fee)!!!!!
Stay here, the pool and property are amazing!!!! Grazie Mille!!!!!!
Absolutely stunning property! The room was amazing, best sleep in months! Only minor critique is (travelling with a fussy 10 yr old eater) lack of children’s menu. Small margarita pizza, breaded chicken or simple pasta with tomato sauce would be ideal!
This masseria has created a very quirky (but lovely) environment throughout the whole sprawling site. Friendly staff made this a lovely holiday experience
One of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed in. Every corner is well designed. The service was perfect, the food very fresh and delicious!!!
Spectacular place for a stay away from home. Artistically furnished rooms. Friendly staff and great breakfast.
The restaurant food could serve down-to-earth food - simple well-cooked Italian food rather than aim at fine dining.
A perfect stay at a perfect place, from the moment we drove through the gates. Everyone working at the Masseria is welcoming and friendly, in a genuine way. The rooms are large and has everything you need. The grounds are wonderful to stroll through and observe with trees, farming animals. We walked to the coast through olive groves. The food was delicious - from breakfast to dinner, with the lovely Elvira waiting on us in the evening.
We spent three nights at the Masseria Montenapoleone and regret not booking at least a week. The room and the grounds (including spectacular pool!) were all incredibly beautiful. The amount of details is amazing - around each corner is more beauty. The breakfast spread was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very helpful too. We unfortunately got a parking ticket earlier in our trip and the reception helped us resolve this issue smoothly. We will be back without a doubt!!
This place is very special & exceeded our expectations
In my opinion it should be for adults only as this place is very special
Fresh & wholesome organic food
Friendly & helpful employees
Comfortable & spacious accommodation
I can 100 % recommend a stay here
nb A car is essential for sightseeing
& avoid school holidays if you don't have children
The decor and setting of this Masseria are stunning. If the vineyard, olive groves, cave rooms and pool aren't enough to impress there are animals, hammocks and the most delicious organic food and home produced olive oil. Book and enjoy!
We had an incredible stay at Masseria Montenapoleone. The staff were very welcoming and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The property is beautifully situated in the midst of lush farmland. The rooms are comfortable and modern but retain a rustic charm. The internet works perfectly. Breakfast is an incredible spread of home made organic products. The pasta making class was also wonderful with wheat from the farm! You do however need a car to stay at this property because your meals will be in town for the most part. They do have a seasonal restaurant and a kitchen you may use to cook some basic meals. We will definitely return to Masseria Montenapoleone. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Most magnificent place in fifteen years thru Italy
I know each Masseria is supposed to have its own vibe and character, but I am absolutely sure there cannot be another place in all of Puglia with this level of attention to every single little nook and cranny…or with this level beauty in the manner in which the attention manifests in unique touches everywhere. From the moment the majestic metal gates open up to lead you down a long road through the olive trees toward the main structure to the last minute of your stay – this place is pure magic. The philosophy of the family – the Belgian/Italian couple and their son – is that nothing they found in the Masseria after its fifty year abandonment was to be thrown away. A ten year restoration which is still ongoing has yielded results that are awe-inspiring – not because of the luxury or general beauty of the place – that you can find elsewhere too -- but in how every object has a history or has been repurposed for use or decoration – in a simply magnificent manner. You wander the grounds and you can find days, weeks of discoveries. There is so much love and attention to every inch of the place, one wishes to absorb every detail because you know thought went into the how and why of it.
