Horrific stat from start to finish. I booked the room and then when we arrived at the hotel they charged me again. They literally made double the money on my stay and no one will refund my duplicate payment. I will not be using hotels.com again and more importantly I won’t stay here ever again.
Would not stay again! Check in wasn’t until 6pm and check out is 10 am. Therefore by the time we settled into our bare room with dirty floors, everything was closed and we couldn’t utilize a single amenity! Total waste. The lady at the Checkin was training but she wasn’t helpful in knowing the property or what was available. She finally found the map and schedule of the property and I figured it out myself. Perhaps if staying multiple nights it would be worth it but for one night, it was absolutely not worth it. The property is pretty but the beds are uncomfortable, the schedule pointless when everything closes before Checkin, and the staff not helpful. Will not be returning.

This is a bit like staying at summer camp in the 60s. Stunning location and super nice staff. Overall an experience that was awesome and very hard to find.
It is a great property to stay at with families. There is so many activities to do, that you won’t know what to do first. It is a great place to have weekend getaway! Only like 10-15 minutes away from Downtown Estes Park but again there is so much to do that you wouldn’t need to leave the property at all. Once we got there we saw that there is lodge rooms and cabins that could be rented out. For sure coming back!

We actually do love the YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park. We've tried to make a tradition of going once a year in the off season for a quick retreat. As always the activities offered and grounds were amazing
However, this year we decided to save some money and book an economy room instead of the classic room. It was about what I was expecting, but we will not be booking it again. I don't mind that it was older, but it also didn't seem to be cleaned as well. The covers on the bunks had stains and hair.
Overall we had a very fun time at the YMCA of the Rockies, we'll just book different stays.
I reserved a balcony on my reservation and was not given balcony. Our view was not appealing, broken chair and random wood boards in front of our room.
It smelled musty.
The staff was awesome. Pool was awesome. The facility has so much to do.
Stayed in the Wind River Lodge. Clean & quiet. No TV so I brought my computer and it was just fine. Only thing is I wish the coffee machines provided did more than 1 cup at a time via coffee pod. I brought my own coffee and if I hadn’t brought a French press there would’ve been no way for me to make coffee.. especially since they state that guests should bring their own coffee.
Good place to stay and with a bunch of activities. I do not recommend their food though, very simple and we had food poisoning. Everybody got sick and really nauseated.
