The Breakfast was very good and fresh with plenty of options. Many types of pastries, fruits alternative milks. The front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Douro Valley. The rooms had incredible views of the River. Rooms were spacious but were dated,they need a refresh. Bed was comfortable though. The area was good but you definitely need a car to see the rest of the valley and vineyards.

Wow ! This is an Exceptional guesthouse, 5 *! I would highly recommend this location. Manuel is the host and will treat you as a family member. He is welcoming and approachable should your have questions or need anything. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. Balconies look out over the river. The grounds are carefully maintained. Location is secure and within an easy 10min. walk to restaurants and the train. Breakfast is of the highest quality with lots of options. Eggs are cooked to order. Parking is safe with plenty of spaces. Shower is top notch; great pressure and temperature. Love it. Do not hesitate to book here.

Absolutely stunning location! We loved our peaceful 3 nights at this quaint and well run hotel. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and waking up to the view of the Douro River was fabulous. Even better than we expected, I would recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone!

Parking easy and close

We had the most wonderful stay here for 3 days over easter. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, every part of it is carefully thought out. The decor is gorgeous, rooms spacious with lovely high ceilings and it is immaculately clean. The grounds are stunning, service and staff exceptional, i cannot think of one negative thing about our stay. Breakfast was also excellent and dinner in the restaurant the same with very reasonable pricing too for a 5 star hotel. A couple of minutes walk away are a couple of pleasant local restaurants and if you have a car, lots of hikes nearby. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Hotel de diseño con vistas estupendas al Duero. Tiene dos piscinas pequeñas, y un gimnasio y spa también pequeños, pero suficientes. El restaurante Raiva ofrece una comida y un servicio excelentes. El sumiller, Pedro, se portó especialmente bien con nosotros, explicando los vinos de la región y teniendo un trato muy amable. El hotel ofrece diversas actividades, como paseos por el Duero, excursiones, etc. Un lugar estupendo para relajarse y desconectar unos días.
