Fix the lights

The hotel in general was good, location decor etc but the lights in our room kept breaking. A known issue that was a real pain.

Great spot on St Andrews Square

A quick 4-night stay after a business trip. The bar is great, food is great (Wednesday was half-price steak night), staff were fantastic. We’d stay here again without hesitation!

We slept well and it was very quiet. However, check-in was a huge disappointment. The man checking us in was quite rude and although we arrived late, we were told our room wasn’t ready with no explanation as to why. When we got in our room it was dirty - the shower was filthy and there was no tissues. Very disappointed.

We loved the location, 5 minutes from Princes Street! Also the hotel was beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and the facilities great. If you don’t need housekeeping, you get a voucher for a free drink! The staff are friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile! We didn’t use the restaurant as we ate out, but the bar was welcoming and cosy. We would definitely stay again!

Staff very friendly and professional. Room was clean and a good size. Liked the option of a drinks voucher in exchange for not cleaning room everyday of visit. Because of age of building there were stairs to negotiate between floors which might be an issue for some people. Loved our stay here.
