Hotel was well located. Staff friendly. Basic things missing like teaspoons, wooden stirrers aren't ideal. I attempted to use the hairdryer and it instantly started sparking and smoking. Really dangerous. Beds are really hard and creaky. Room was clean enough. I wouldn't stay at a Hampton again but not the worst stay I've had. Shout out to Callum though, very helpful

Dundee stay

Great hotel in the centre of Dundee. Walking distance to city centre venues. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Bed was a bit firm for me but that’s just personal preference and not a reflection of the hotel standard.

Nice City Centre Hotel

Nice, new-ish hotel in the city centre. Stayed with myself and two children age 6 and 8.Ten minutes from railway station. Air conditioner worked great. Staff were very nice. Especially appreciated the relatively low noise room. Could hear a bit in hall and neighbours bathroom sink but nothing that woke us (could have gotten lucky too). Bed was firm but comfortable enough. The pillows were all down and (I know first worst problem) not supportive enough. Breakfast was just ok (but included which was really the reason we chose this hotel over the Sheraton) - eggs seemed to be made from powder, juice was concentrate, coffee was average, but the waffles and baked goods were nice. A smart TV would've been nice. Overall good experience but seemed a bit more budget hotel than I was expecting.

The food was lovely though a little slow, the staff were very helpful. Only one very small thing was that we were in late after a concert and one of the wee reading lights wouldn't turn off. We didn't notify reception at the time as it was late and needed our bed. In the morning at check out we let reception know and the staff were very apologetic and offered us free coffee or tea to take away. Couldn't fault the service at reception.

As the hotel had been so busy our room wasn't ready when we arrived. Kinga upgraded us to a corner view room and gave us 2 free drinks vouchers to make up for our wait. Excellent service from Kinga.
