This is a great spot for exploring Dublin. Easy to walk and to catch transport. Staff is kind and generous and professional. Room was clean. Walks are very thin though and it seems that visitors to Dublin like to drink a lot and stay up into the wee hours, noisily. All part of the experience, I guess. If you are a sound sleeper, this is the perfect spot.
Walls paper thin, couldn’t sleep hearing next room just turn over in bed or breathing it was that thin of a wall… heating tapping all night, light coming under door bright!
Bathroom I’ve seen bigger plane toilets! Noise coming from other guests up to 4am
Very clean and quiet. Very central for walking to many of the historical and current destinations in Dublin. A half an hour walk will take you to many places! Plus the buses and tram and other transportation are right out the door. There is a simple and sufficient breakfast downstairs if needed. The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very helpful. I needed a reading lamp to give an additional light, and I bought a small light for that purpose. The staff was very accomodating and said they would have provided such a light if I had just asked! Everything was pleasant and perfect for my trip. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
The room was really nice, very spacious and the location is just amazing! Literally a few minutes to get to the city centre. Would totally recommend! I’m totally gonna book it again when I go back to Dublin!
Staff exceedingly helpful, thoughtful and a pleasure to be around. The charm of the building made it a memorable, enjoyable stay. At times not as quiet as some places might be. I was comfortable throughout my stay and grateful for the experience.
We only had to stay for a few hours sleep but ended up leaving earlier than we needed to because it was loud. The building was eerie and the room was gross - the bathroom had mold around the tub and there were only hand towels. My fiancé and I laughed it off because what else could we do? But honestly it felt like a by-the-hour kind of place and I’ll never go again.
