The hotel in general was fine, but noise was the biggest issue. And not even noise from music or "revellers" outside, but rather the constant drone from aircon units and generators outside. You could hear this in the corridor outside my room (115) too, and the same was the case one floor up.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, and we appreciated the easy access to public transportation. However it was quite noisy the first night so we had to change rooms. The staff was very helpful.

Initial check in took time by no fault of the staff, otherwise friendly. Initial room was very cold, heating not working and bathtub made gurgling noise and emitted a bad smell. Staff was helpful in getting us into a different room where things were comfortable for the rest of our stay

The location was great in that it was a one to two block walk from pubs and restaurants. Other than that, the AC was leaking, shower was very small and the shower glass barely kept any water in, and I overheard them charge someone $60 for early check in. Why not just give that traveler the room if it’s already ready?

The property is perfect if you’re looking to party in the temple bar district. The hotel was loud and had construction going on. If I were in my 20’s I would stay there all the time.
