Downtown Milwaukee winery accommodation

We loved the security features, the aesthetics, the warmth of the room. There was a wad of bandage in front of a door down the hall from us from Thursday until when we left Sunday. Elevator floor was sticky and gross for days too. Lastly the breakfast didn’t offer any gluten free carb solutions. We’d consider staying here again in the future

Another great stay at the best-updated of all the Grand Dame hotels I've ever seen. Every staffer was nice and the onsite cafe and bars were terrific. Comfortable room, good wifi and sensible TV features - everything just great.

The staff was fantastic the minute we walked through the door. The reception desk was extremely helpful and the woman running the breakfast area was very friendly and deficient We will be back

Great location to walk to Lake Michigan and the Public Market as well as many shops and bars. Hotel room was large. Staff so helpful. Asked for recommendations for coffee places, bus stops and pizza delivery and all staff members were beyond helpful. Breakfast was good. Lots of options hot and cold and coffee was great for a hotel. Would stay again

Check in process is annoying, has to be done via online or at kiosk which is not smooth, can't check in at front desk. But to get your room keys and pay for parking you have to go to front desk. Rooms are old and very basic given a historic building, and plumbing fixtures on sink and in shower in desperate need of repairs. Noisy rooms. Can hear everything oitsise and everyone inside. Good area however.

This is a cool hotel. High, wood beam ceilings, hardwood floors in some areas. Repurposed warehouse originally built in 1892. Free breakfast, which is rare in this type of hotel. Breakfast was good. Excellent location near the free streetcars, and walking distance to the Amtrak station if you are reasonably fit and don't have a boatload of luggage. We walked. Third Ward is a block away, as is the Riverwalk. Lots of restaurants/bars nearby. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
