Northwest Territories Ski Resorts

Check in was easy, even with our flight being delayed until 1:30am. The staff was wonderful! Our luggage unfortunately didn’t make it to Yellowknife, so the staff provided us with the toiletries we needed. The elevator was down for a couple of days, so climbing up 4 flights of stairs became a little annoying. There were som questionable homeless people in the area, but there was security at all hours in the hotel and they were honestly harmless compared to what we deal with in LA. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go as it was central to a lot of restaurants and stores. Overall, it was a great stay for what we paid compared to the other properties in the area. Property was clean, staff was friendly and it was pretty central to everything we wanted to check out. I would recommend it over all.

We stayed at Jenny's for four nights during March break 2026. Our party was three people and we had a separate room and bed for my special needs son which was great. We had access to a kitchen which we used to cook and store food which saved us money. It was situated one block south of the main street. We were able to park our car on the street in front of the house and got a free three day parking pass from the City thanks to Jenny's suggestion. She was a friendly and very accomodating host. In all very good value for the price in a town where hotel accomodations are very expensive. Thank you Jenny!

This is an excellent accommodation in the perfect location for access to the lakes and Aurora locations. The host has thought of everything. All the little extras you need it’s there for you! I would definitely recommend staying here and will return. Thanks for a great stay.

We went to see the Aurora. Was getting home at 3am. Thought we could sleep in but it was very noisy above. I recommend people wear mocassins or quiet slippers and avoid heavy activity in the bedroom area. Dog barking didn’t help either. I recommend to put a curtain on the kitchen window, the sun is right in ur eyes.Everything was great other than we were not getting good sleep.

The rooms were warm so that is a plus. There was paper towel and tape over a hole in the wall over the bed. Not sure what that was for but we liked it. The gym was ice cold and the treadmill not working properly. The staff seemed to not care to be there. The front desk was not very kind or polite but not rude.

Stayed in the apartment style rooms that are across the parking lot from the hotel. This was an upgrade given to us when we checked in. Kind of a pain to go back and forth between the two buildings when it is so cold outside. Breakfast buffet was very good. Giving 3 stars because the heat was blasting in our room when we checked in, had to be at least 35 C in the room. Made for a very uncomfortable first night.
