Very nice hotel “in the middle of nowhere” which is good, as you can stay comfortably on your way The hotel is clean and nice The room is big and bright and also clean Breakfast is really nice Also you have an opportunity to take a walk around the lake and watch birds We liked the stay

Great property, very clean, excellent bar and great location as well. But a bit pricey. We got a noisy room along the road and cars revving their engines late in the night was not exactly pleasant.

Loved this hotel

We arrived late (maybe around 11pm) and you check in at the restaurant downstairs on the first floor. We were told we were the last guests to arrive, but the hostess was very kind and luckily they had an elevator to our 4th floor room. The room was nice, modern, and the kitchenette even had an oven. After staying our previous 4 nights in small towns or remote rooms, it was fun to see a nightlife on a Saturday night in Akureyri, with lots of people still on the streets as we were checking in. You have to park in the large lot behind the place and walk to it, but it was fine. We attended church Sunday morning at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and it was right next door and wonderful.
