The Paradore was exactly what the doctor ordered after the Camino Way. We spent a day and night in Santiago in order to take in the history of the city. The hotel is next to the Museum of the Sacred along with the Cathedral so location was ideal. When our schedule changed and we had to leave before experiencing the breakfast, the hotel packed us a wonderful nutritious packed breakfast we were able to eat at the airport. The bathroom provided a wonderful shower and bath tub. After walking all day, the shower was a luxury before climbing into a wonderful king bed with good back support. I will never forget my experience at the Paradores.

La atención fue excelente. La habitación muy cómoda y el hotel muy bien ubicado, con servicios y restaurantes cerca.

A lovely hotel in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by gardens and a lake. A gem in the city, it is an easy walk to the cathedral without the noise and chaos that go along with typical city center vibe. I’m coming back after my Camino to rest here.

Overall experience is ok

The room smelled like sewage possibly because it was in the basement, but other than this the room was immaculate and the shower was lovely. I wish the towel warmer worked. The staff were excellent, especilly Maria. She was very knowledgeable about Spain and Portugal since she used to be a flight attendant. We talked to her for a while.
