A Coruña Hotels with Parking

The location is great facing the sea & only a short walk to bars & restaurants. There is no parking but the hotel has a preferential rate with the underground car park that has pedestrian access by the hotel. This being said, we were rather underwhelmed by the hotel. The staff were efficient but not as welcoming as we have found in other parts of Northern Spain. The wifi didn't work for the whole of our stay - an external issue apparently but we only told this when we reported it. Our room was a mobility-accessible room which was only apparent when we opened the door and while we appreciate the need for such facilities, it was totally inappropriate for us. We were met with short shrift when we questioned why it had been allocated to us. There was no bottled water in the room which was even more annoying when we spotted bottles on the cleaner's cart the next day so clearly an oversight. Very disappointing overall given the price paid.

Parking was safe but not easy to go through.

Hotel is all right but is very bare with minimal amenities. Remember to bring your own tissue, hair conditioner. Note also that there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room or in common areas. The lamp, air-con and telephone in our first room didn’t work. They were kind enough to change our room. Room is clean, nice beds, bathroom is modern and clean with good shower.

We've been traveling for weeks now and had 3 nights in A Coruna at the Doubletree. Best stay we've had the entire trip! The room was beautifully decorated and quiet which is a must for us. The motorized black out curtains were a pleasant surprise and very effective. The gratis mini bar was well stocked and maintained. The only complaint is the onsite parking. Wow is that tight! I believe we were supposed to let a valet park for us but that was not communicated and only discovered after reading reviews on other sites. Regardless, we'll stay here again when we visit.
