NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

The only decent space in the hotel is the lobby. The building is older, but the issue is that it’s extremely unkept. Having worked in a 4-star hotel, I know what the standard should be, this was not it. We were in town to celebrate our anniversary as well as a friends wedding, and checked-in late in the evening after a long day of travel, so we were hoping to get some rest. Not possible with this room. Our bed looked like it had already been slept in and there were stains on the sheets and mattress!! We waited almost an hour for new linens. The shower had a consistent clog and the barriers on the balcony were loose and banged against the wall all night, every night. The sound proofing is terrible in the building. On top of all of that they’re are a lot of hidden fees the hotel doesn’t mention on their website, and if you ask them they will give you very vague answers around pricing. We had to call to get charged removed for services we didn’t even use that were just automatically added to our room! DON’T BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PLACE!! They are definitely AI generated. Every negative review speaks the truth and I wish we saw them earlier. They did not take our method of payment (chime) and were only willing to take a major credit card holders. Thankfully I had second method of payment because another guest did not any they were not willing to work with them at all even though they had the funds and every other hotel in the area as sold out for the evening.

The hotel was nice overall. But cleanliness could be stepped up. There was an old French fry on the floor, hair in the shower and floor and dusty items. Service was wonderful at front desk and a very nice lobby.
