The rooms were very nice. Well equipped, some biscuits in the drinks tray would have been nice, and would have expected go a hotel like this. The staff were very nice - the check in staff and the staff in the bar/restaurant. It was difficult to find the way in due to the building work going on and we arrived in the dark, and the car park was packed due to the gym and pool being so popular. But other than that all was good.

Room was in an okay condition, but very dusty. I changed rooms. The first room I had, lights were flickering and there was a door in the middle connecting two rooms. The door was unlocked, but I could only lock it from my side. If I was in the other room, someone could have walked easily walked in and I wouldn’t know, as it would appear the door was locked. Staff should take better care to ensure security. My second room didnt have a door in the room, and was generally clean. There was disruptions throughout the day as there was workers The rooms were £100/night. They provided an iron, board, kettle, tea/coffee/milk. But no water. I would at the very least expect water.

Sraff were always very helpful, the rooms were excellent. Plenty of tv's to watch sport. Food was amazing. Also plenty of other entertaining very close by, cinema, ten pin bowling.

Wow have stayed at The Village Ashton before but they have obviously improved things. Bed incredibly comfortable, little extras in room, huge TV and a fitness ball and mat in room. Check in smooth and easy. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

i was really disappointed with our 3 night stay. The staff were fine. The bedroom wasn't cleaned once. The coffee and tea wasn't topped up despite my repeated requested and lastly the bed was uncomfy and the pillows were hard. Walking through a cloud of smoking people to get into the hotel was undesirable as well.
