We had originally booked this property because of the rooftop pool. Our room was located on the 5th floor, and the pool is located on the 6th floor. Due to the loud noises/music of the bar upstairs going until 2am, we hardly got any sleep throughout our entire stay. The rooftop itself is beautiful! We tried to access the pool on Saturday, when we found out it was reserved for a private party. The party was from 2pm-8pm. From that time, we were unable to utilize the bar/pool. We paid a lot for the hotel because of the pool and weren't able to use it for one of the days. We had no idea about the private party until an hour before when they had put signs in the elevator. We asked for a partial refund for not being able to use the utilities as listed, and we received a very very small reimbursement. The bartenders were not friendly and were extremely slow for service. I understand that service slows up when it's busy. But the bartenders were talking and texting in a corner, while multiple people were waiting on drinks at the bar. The bar downstairs was just as slow as the bar upstairs. Overall, the rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms have no vent, and you can see into the shower from the bedroom. The lack of communication, loud music, and lack of service is why I'm displeased with our stay. Overpriced hotel.

DISAPPOINTED IN MANAGEMENT

We recently booked two rooms for two nights with the intention of enjoying the rooftop pool and lounge during our stay. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed to find that the pool was closed from 3 to 8 PM due to a private event. This significantly impacted our experience, as access to the rooftop area was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. When we brought this issue to the attention of the manager, the only compensation offered was four drink tickets. Frankly, this gesture felt inadequate given that paying guests were denied access to a major amenity during prime hours. It's disappointing that the hotel prioritized a private party over the comfort and experience of its overnight guests. We hope the management will reconsider how such events are handled in the future and provide more appropriate communication and compensation when amenities are restricted

Checked out within hours of staying in the property. Very noisy next door due to a bar/club sharing the same parking lot, very limited parking in the lot, room was not ready at check-in time at 3pm (and I arrived early hoping for an early check-in around 11am which they said the room would be ready shortly), they gave me a VIP card for 20% off any item and insisted that I could use it at the bar while I waited for the room and that turned out not to be true (on the card it said that it couldn’t be used at the bar but the receptionist insisted). Also, not sure how to explain this but the building has a very bad ventilation system. I’m sure it’s due to the building being older and looks like they converted a warehouse to a hotel so the exposed bricks are very charming but the rooms felt humid and mugy (this is staying there in April too) especially after taking a shower. It felt like my clothes were damp and I just had taken them out of my suitcase. I was very uncomfortable in the rooms and I was battling a respiratory issue at the time so it wouldn’t have helped to stay any longer than I did. It’s decent if you plan to never be at the hotel and just need a place to sleep at night but if you are looking for something better I’d suggest staying somewhere else like I did.

This is not for the mature professionals

This was the worse experience that me and my family has ever had staying in a hotel. They were loud music clean from parties in the middle of the day. We could not take a nap we had to leave our room in order to get peace and quiet. Management never addressed the issue. Our kids were not able to get in the pool due to events that they were having that required to be 21 and over.

Cute but a few issues

Hotel is really cute, love the decor and industrial vibe. Staff is also super nice, and rooftop has a great pool & skyline view. Our room got very loud at night and the AC fluctuated a lot so it quickly gets very warm in the rooms. I got bit by a spider or something on our first night sleeping and they promptly offered us a new room the next day, which was very much appreciated. They advertise free parking but on weekend nights, the valet block off half of the lot so you have to find parking elsewhere unless you want to pay. Location is central but a bit sketchy. You can tell a lot of people rent the hotel to host parties. I would probably not stay here again.
