Cromer Country Club. Relaxing, enjoyable Good food

We needed a few days away and Cromer is always worth a visit. Very impressed with Cromer Country Club. Well planned accommodation, everything clean and well maintained. Helpful staff. Restaurant served " home cooked" food with generous serving. We will be back.

Lovely apartments in a peaceful location, short walk to the beach. Pool and gym and changing rooms were in good condition and helpful staff, we didn't try the games room this time as the weather was too good to spend much time inside! We had our first evening meal in the restaurant, it was relaxed and the food wasn't fancy but it was really good quality and perfectly cooked, we felt it represented really good value for money. The restaurant service was also excellent. I knocked off a star for the accommodation as there was damage (or poor repair) on the bathtub surface around the taps which made it look rather tired and the veneer was peeling off the edge of the coffee table. The gym was well equipped for such a small space and the air conditioning was lovely, but there didn't seem to be any way to play music, so it was either TV or silence (I couldn't seem to find any music channels or radio on the TV), and they could do with some appropriate gym matting in front of the dumbbell rack/under the bench.

Overall a very pleasant place to stay. Apartment had all the amenities needed, and you are close to lots of shops and supermarkets if you drive. The only slight negative is the parking is quite tight if you have a larger vehicle, and there are a number of stairs as well as sloping paths as we were on a hilly stretch. All in all, a great few days, and I'd come back in the future.

A comfortable and memorable stay

A very warm welcome and perfect 4 night stay. We didn't use the leisure facilities, but had 2 very nice meals in the restaurant. There is also a car charger outside reception, which was easy to arrange with reception. We just had a studio, but it was very well equipped with a full kitchen with full oven and even a dishwasher. I have no hesitation in recommending and know we will return one day.

Great place that is made even better by great, attentive and caring staff. Had a small issue (not the hotel’s fault) and management & staff bent over backwards to help out. Special mention to Hannah - thanks for everything. We live in a world where most people’s concept of service is ‘it was cheap and it turned up quickly’. This management team know the REAL meaning of customer service and it is very much appreciated.

Lovely accommodation. Everything you could ever need and very clean throughout. All staff very informative, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely swimming pool, steam room, sauna and hot tub, which were all free to use. Games room had a pool table and other activities. There was a full size snooker table in another room too. The Amber Restaurant and Bar next door served good food and the staff were great. Cromer was a nice 15 minute walk from the hotel via the Cliff top walk (not for anyone with mobility issues). We would definitely come again for a relaxing break.

Loved it!

Beautiful location backing onto Cromer Lighthouse, although steep access on foot was do-able., apartments are on terraces, with individual patios. Interiors are well furnished... a full Sunday roast could be cooked from scratch in the kitchen! And I'm sure long-stays appreciate the washer dryer! Absolutely loved it! On-site bar and restaurant had a varied menu. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi a big help on a chilly windy day!
